PROBLEM

Vodafone wanted to get the public excited about 5G. The problem was, all the conversation at the time focussed on hard data and a far-off world of driverless cars. They needed to connect audiences to 5G in an emotionally-fuelled way that felt like the day after tomorrow, rather than the day after 2032.

SOLUTION

Fundamentally, everyone wants to be better connected. So, inspired by 5G’s greater bandwidth and latency, we created a new way to connect: holographic bedtime stories. We then found a real family who didn’t see each other enough due to geographical distance, and enabled the grandparents to give their grandkids a telling of ‘The Three Little Pigs’ like no other, offering a different - and far more real - look at what 5G can do for us.
